AZ fun.

We travelled to Phoenix last week and I removed myself a bit from technology and just had fun. Really, my father-in-law doesn't have wi-fi so I couldn't Insta from Wed-Sunday, so I was kinda forced into it, but I'm really glad I did. I read most of a book I've been wanting to read for a bit instead of always going on Pinterest or Twitter while Hen feeds, and I think I paid better attention to other people's conversations.

I haven't uploaded the few pictures I took with my itouch, but here are a few I took with our point-and-shoot (I know, people still use them…crazy, right?).

One of the coolest parts about being in AZ was the pool. I hopped in the Dille's pool and in the complex's pool multiple times and because of the heat the pools were pretty much bath water. No adjustment period needed. It was glorious. And Hen and Ry even joined me on Wednesday. It was the first time Ryan swam with Hen this summer and we both loved seeing Henry splash in the water and realize that he could kick in the water too. I can't wait for each summer to see how Henry progresses.

The next picture is taken from the car--this kid was in the car way more than he ever is here, and for the most part, he loved it. And I loved sitting in the back with him and watching him yelp and make him laugh. There's something about actually seeing him squeal and yell and learn to make noise that's so much more fun than just hearing it. Watching that little tongue of his move around as he screams/gurgles just cracks me up.
