a spring break trip to new york city.

Even though Ryan's break officially started this Monday we left last Thursday to see some friends (the Harts) in NJ and go into the city on Friday and Saturday. It was great to be able to go into the city, but also have hardly any plans other than eating some good food and avoiding most high-tourist areas.

There's hardly any documentation I was there, but believe me, my stomach surely knows. We did Shake Shack/Eataly/ABC Carpet & Home/NYU campus & Greenwich with Jason (Ryan's friend from HS) on Friday. We did Absolute Bagels with Hunter (another HS friend)/Riverside Park/Joe's Pizza/Grom/a park/Murray's Cheese on Saturday. And both days we didn't get into the city until after 1.

And then Sunday was wonderful and chill as we headed to church, snacked, went on a chilly, but beautiful walk, and then finished a movie. I love weekends.

Our time was fun and way too short, but we can't wait to see the Harts again and to go back to the city. Hank was a champ and a born city kid :)
