I have this friend, Amy. I adore her. And absolutely love taking pictures of her. She's gorgeous. A few Saturdays ago we got to hang out all day long and go to Eastern Market. As we rummaged through my favorite hat place to find sweet hats, Ams found one that fit her PERFECTLY. I mean seriously, does she look good or what?!
We also found some cool leather keychains and wallets and bracelets that I thought were pretty amazing looking. I wish we could have talked to the owner more, but it was a smokin hot afternoon and we needed to get into the shade pronto.
We met up with Ryan at noon and wandered the National Mall before falling upon this beauty:
There's a huge fountain in the sculpture garden where you can sit on the side and put your feet in. It was seriously heaven. Amy and I ended up talking for about an hour as Ry found some shade, talked to his mom, took a nap, and read a book. Seriously, time flies when you're with a good friend and your feet are soaking in water as the sun shines on. Have I mentioned lately how much I love the sun??
first of all, you are much too kind. and yes it was amazing that i found a hat to fit my basketball sized head! such a great day. still have the nasty red neck to remind me of it's greatness.
