Makeup dress-up

So Amy and I had facials from a girl in my ward who just started doing Mary Kay. We let her practice and played with makeup. I felt like I was a little kid. It was amazing.

this is my friend, amy. she's appeared on the blog before. and she will again. because she's amazingly beautiful. and we had a little makeup party last night and i took some pictures but i'm off to school and can't post them all until later this weekend.

apples apples apples

We picked apples a couple of weeks ago. For free. I love free things and I love apples! The weather was great and now it's already cold enough that when you walk to school you can see your breath! Oh well. Here's to fall!

One day there was an opening social for wymount. There was cotton candy, hot dogs and chops, a football throwing contest, a train ride for the little tykes, face-painting, and a guy making balloon objects.

I wanted a balloon.

So I waited in line.

Surrounded by families and three year olds.

For 45 minutes.

Ryan didn't even wait the whole time since he wanted to go watch the football game.

But I still waited.

Football could wait.

Was it worth it?

YES.
