the night we saw pioneer woman.

No, we didn't get a cookbook. We didn't get her signature. We went to Sugarhouse to the bookstore where she was signing, stood in line, and then she walked by! She's real. That's all I really needed to know.

Anyway, so we waited and waited, but there were 400 people in front of us and then we learned that the bookstore was out of cookbooks. So we left. But here are the pictures from our adventure. We took way too many, but we had to entertain ourselves SOMEhow. Oh, and the cookbook we have in the pictures is from one of the girls we were waiting with. She asked us to hold it while she checked on something, so we used it as a prop.

After we decided to head back to the car, we decided that we wished we could live in the little neighborhood we parked near. The houses were so cute! So we took some pictures.

p.s. this last picture is my favorite. i should become a pro. who wants me to practice on them??

6 months of greatness

Ryan brought me six roses on Saturday for 6 months of marriage. What a stud.

And we celebrated today by eating cake. It was taking up too much precious freezer space. And it was still SO GOOD. We both had two slices. And we'll both be eating it daily this week, I'm almost positive.

We were pretty excited. And it didn't dissapoint. We let it thaw this morning and through church and it was a little cold in the center, but not frozen at all. YUM.

Raspberry and creme filling. White cake. Heaven in cake form.
