For my English class, we have to make a manual, and although mine has to do with public health, a girl in my class and fellow public health major is writing one about coupon clipping.
She told me all about thesavvyshoppers.blogspot.com and now I'm totally and utterly excited to start coupon clipping and to actually save money.
Also, we don't get the Sunday paper, but lately Ryan and I have been walking down to the apartment complex we used to live in, and grab one out of the stack. As my family can attest, I love coupons, and now I'm excited to use them and actually save money instead of clipping them out and having them get lost!
That's my exciting update for today, and now I can enter to win a giveaway! Wish me luck!

Things I love this week
1. Making homemade choco-pops with my girl amy. they're pretty much worms 'n dirt in frozen form, and mmmm that batter was DELISH.

2. Amy and I went to the farmer's market last saturday, then to byu to print off Stacie's bridal shower invites. These were Amy's steals, and I gt some flower earrings like these, but in pink and blue. I LOVE 'em.

3. I made homemade chicken tenders from pioneerwoman.com. HOLEY MOLEY they were great. Definitely the least healthy meal I've made, but the fresh green beans totally made up for it, right?

4. My AMAZING husband. Like father like son. The first picture Ryan wasn't ready, and then the second time his dad wasn't. But third time's a charm. Aren't they adorable? And is it bad that I could stare at Ryan all day. Dang, I love that guy.

4th of July
This weekend was pretty fun, I must say.
On Friday night, Amy and I rode our bikes downtown to check out the craft booths at the 4th of July festival in Provo. There were some cute things, but unfortunately, at the cost of a free hot dog, I left my phone at a booth and when I went back to get it, it was stolen. I cried for a few days. But I'm better now. RIP little one.
Then on the 4th, Ryan and I went to the parade in the morning, ate a great breakfast at Dev. 5 of blue pancakes, hashbrowns, and eggs. That night, Amy, Camie, Jeff, and I went up to Rock Canyon park and watched the fireworks. We got Subway before and while it was still light, Jeff taught Amy and I how to play Egyptian Ratscrew. All I can say is, Amy's got super-quick little hands--beware.

Ryan had to work on the 4th, but when I got back from the park and when he got back from work we lit some sparklers on the balcony. I LOVE sparklers. Writing secret messages with them is pretty fun as well. And isn't Ryan just adorable? The next day, after church, I made a 4th of July meal including bbq beef sandwiches, potato salad, and corn on the cob. All I can say is: YUM

I made red, white, and blue cupcakes to take up to the park. I think I used too much oil and the white cake mix was just too delicate, so when I tried to take the cupcakes out, it was a disaster. I made some homemade buttercream icing though, and that was delicious. I may not be the best baker, but at least I'm festive!
